Italy to host Iran animation ‘Sink’

Imaginaria Film Festival in Italy is scheduled to screen Iran animation ‘Sink’.

Directed by Mahboubeh Kalaei, the animation will vie at the student competition section of the event.

A lineup of 15 short films is to compete at the student competition section.

Films from Italy, Iran, Poland, Belgium, Russia, Slovakia, France and UK are present at the event.

The animation revolves around a man and a woman who appear from 2 cups of coffee which are left in a sink.

The animation had been present at the 10th edition of VAFI & RAFI – International Children and Youth Animation Film Festival, Croatia.
